Volunteer Coordinator

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Volunteer Coordinator at Rainbow Routes Association. The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for managing and training volunteers, communicating with stakeholders and partners, and performing community outreach activities. The role is located in Sudbury, ON, but some remote work is acceptable.

  • Organizational skills and project management skills,

  • Problem solving skills,

  • Leadership skills,

  • Time management skills,

  • Proficient in Canva,

  • Social media skills,

  • French communication skills would be considered an asset.

Qualifications

  • Volunteer management and volunteer training skills,

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills,

  • Experience in community outreach,

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment,

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills,

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe and Google Suite,

  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is preferred,

  • College diploma or degree in social work, community development, or related field.

Salary

  • 18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Hours

  • 10 hours per week over a 25-week period.
