Trail Cleanup

The Rainbow Routes’ trail network consists of more than 30 official wilderness and urban trails, covering more than 100km of ground throughout our community. To keep these trails in the best possible condition, we sometimes reach out to our network of volunteers to participate in cleanup days. Trail cleanup events may have involve picking up trash and other debris, cleaning brush, or removing fallen trees.

If you are interested in contributing towards the health and sustainability of our trail network, fill out the Volunteer Registration form and we will contact you when volunteer opportunities for trail maintenance arise!

Note that you can also become a trail advocate outside of organized trail cleanup events!

• Practice leave no trace principles.

• Make a difference while hiking by picking up at least one piece of litter.

• Get together with friends, family or co-workers and spend a day cleaning your favourite trail.
