Ramsey Lake Skating Path

The Ramsey Lake Skating Path is now open for the season. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Due to weather, hours of operation may change without notice. Trail Access: Corner of Elizabeth Street and McNaughton Terrace or 206 Ramsey Lake Road

Length: 2.0 km, linear

Difficulty: Easy

Trial Surface: Ice - Historically opened anywhere from mid January to early February

Parking: Parking lot available off of Elizabeth Street or parking lot available for a fee at 100 Ramsey Lake Road (Science North)

Plan Your Visit

• Put on those skates and enjoy skating out on Ramsey Lake - this skate path extends from the corner of Elizabeth Street and McNaughton Terrace to the Northern Water Sports Centre.

• Change facilities are located at the Elizabeth Street location

• Heated facilities are located at both ends of the skating path
