About the Hike
Join us, as we hike along the beautiful Laurentian Loop in Lake Laurentian Conservation Area. Take in the scenic views and get your heart pumping as we hike around Lake Laurentian. This hike is perfect, for hikers that enjoy a fast pace and minimal stops along the route. Due to the difficulty level and type of hike, we are asking that hikers are 12 years of age and above.
Hike Details
When: Saturday November 1, 2025
Time: 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Meeting place: Nature Chalet parking lot - 2309 South Bay Rd
Terrain/Trail Surface: natural, hard and loose packed, exposed roots, exposed rocks
Length: 10 km
Dress: Dress for the weather, wear good hiking shoes, don't forget your water and an energy snack to keep you going.
Duration: 2.5 - 3 hours
Difficulty: medium - difficult terrain
Hike Type: Fast paced with minimal stops

Registration is required to participate in the hike. This ensures that you receive all last-minute notifications, including weather-related cancellations or any changes to the event plan. Note that you will receive a confirmation email the day before the hike.
Our hikes are designed to accommodate participants capable of walking on outdoor trails. Look out for organizers in RRA dark blue vests at the event for any assistance or questions you may have.
