About the Event
This event is a collaboration between Rainbow Routes and Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury and is in association with CLS's climate resilient community event which will be hosted at the Main Library immediately after the walk. After the walk, you are invited to join us for Neighbourhoods for Nature, Caring Communities: Taking action together to prepare our families, homes and neighbourhoods for climate change, on until 3pm, at the Main Library. Hike Details
When: Saturday, November 15th, 10:00 - 12:00 PM (please arrive 10 minutes early)
Meeting place: Greater Sudbury Public Library, Main Branch, 74 Mackenzie St.
**** Transit: GOVA bus #26 or #27. Take the bus free to travel to and from the event. Upon boarding, tell the driver you are attending the Neighborhood for Nature, Caring Communities event to receive a free ride. Take your bus to the transit terminal and walk from there, or take bus #26 or #27 to get off right at the library. ***
Terrain/Trail Surface: Neighbourhood Streets and sidewalks
Length: 4-5 km
Dress: Dress for the weather, wear good walking shoes, bring bottled water and please register.
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
Difficulty: Easy with some mild inclines
