Join the Hike Club for our August outing with a theme on the Sudbury Regreening Programme. This hike, led by the Rainbow Routes Association in conjunction with VETAC (Sudbury’s Regreening Advisory Panel), highlights the transition of Coniston into a green community with 50 years of landscape regreening.
Come join us on Saturday August 2, 2025 as we explore the Jane Goodall Reclamation Trail, the old Coniston Cemetery and Jean-Tellier Trail. Expect to hear about how the Sudbury Regreening Programme operates, as well as looking at the landscape outcomes.
Following the hike there will be a social get together at the Colonial Inn in Coniston, a historical landmark. Lunch will be available for purchase. To help staffing at the Inn the please indicate your attendance on the registration form.
