I am wondering when this trail will be opening this winter-I anticipate being in Sudbury Jan 8-23 and would appreciate some outdoor recreation while visiting. I also cross country ski... thank you

Ramsey Lake Skate Path
This seasonal Skating Path is approximately 1.5 km, extending from the Sudbury Rowing and Canoe Club at the corner of Elizabeth Street and McNaughton Terrace to Science North. Heated change facilities are located at both ends of the Skating Path. For more information, please contact the City of Greater Sudbury at 311 ext. 2437.
UPDATE MARCH 8, 2012: The Ramsey Lake Skate Path is now closed for the season.
