One of the most breathtaking trails in the city, the Kelly Lake Trail begins at Fielding Memorial Park as an easy walk, and is wheelchair accessible for the first kilometre. It passes through a red pine plantation where visitors witness firsthand the re-greening process that has made Greater Sudbury world famous. The trail then follows rougher terrain, taking you to a bird sanctuary with awe-inspiring views of Kelly Lake.
