Downtown to Flour Mill (JCWP)

This is your opporunity to see the historic Flour Mill district with its original flour mill silos.  The trail begins at Ray Hnatyshyn Park at the corner of Elm and Notre Dame, and runs along Junction Creek to Percy Playground near the silos.  Be sure to stop in Ray Hnatyshyn Park and enjoy the serenity of the Ukrainian Altanka, a small enclosed garden that is open from May to October.  The garden is filled with a variety of flowers, trees, a small pool and fountain and features an outdoor oven.  A highlight is the Pysanka, a glass mosaic Ukrainian Easter Egg which is the centrepiece of the grounds.
