Bell Grove

UPDATE July 2011: The Bell Grove Trail is currently closed while construction crews work on the water main, which involves blasting, on Ramsey Lake Road. 

This recreational trail, which is tucked neatly between Ramsey Lake Road and the lake itself, provides adventurers with a quiet place to escape for a short walk.

Start your walk on the northeast grounds of Science North near Ramsey Lake where you'll find a Rainbow Routes directional marker.   Follow the yellow trail markers along a network of small roads (watch for traffic) until you reach the Boat Launch area which has a large parking lot and building.  Continue on to the east side of the parking lot where you'll find another directional marker.  From here, this loop trail leads explorers through red pine and birch stands and along exposed ridges filled with blueberries in the summer months.
